I'm a native English DELTA-qualified tutor with over 20 years' experience in the field of English as a foreign language in positions such as teacher, teacher trainer, director of studies, senior academic advisor and coordinator.

Since 2021 I have been working remotely as a freelance materials writer (for the app Busuu) and currently as a content editor and creator (for the language learning platform FluentU). In addition, I also do some tutoring in the form of tailor-made online courses to suit the needs of my learners.

At the start of the course, we will discuss your needs so that we can set some achievable objectives for us to work on. During the lessons, the person that will do most of the speaking is you, because you need to practise using the language, not me! I will be listening carefully to give you feedback after each activity, to help you identify and correct your own mistakes in order to help you eliminate them. I'll also help you increase your range of vocabulary and grammar structures, focusing on language that will make you sound more natural. We'll work on pronunciation too, which will help you sound more like a native, if this is important to you, or help you understand better when listening.

I'll also give you homework, but in the form of fun and useful activities that you can do outside the class in order to increase your contact with the language while consolidating what you are learning during the lessons.
