Hi! I'm Phoebe, lovely to meet you! You'll probably see my cats Kitty and Peppa in the background of our online lessons too, and whilst they aren't the most helpful academically, they definitely provide a boost of fluffy serotonin :) Additionally to seeing my cats in your lessons, I also encourporate a wide range of learning methods - it's not just copying from a textbook! I love to use methods of active recall which is proven to be one of the most effective ways to retain information through fun kahoot games, colourful flashcards and mind maps! I further have access to a varity of past exam questions - such as GCSE and SATs tests, to provide you withh the opportunity to practice your exam skills and techniques. If you're the kind of person who prefers some quiet study time too with someone there to aid you for assistance, I also offer split session lessons - where the first half of the lesson is teaching, and the second half is independent study :) The main thing is that you are learning in a way that best suits you :) On the more personal side of things, I am not just hear to support you academically, but also emotionally. I understand that school and studies carries a lot of additional stress and worries, so please know that my lessons are an outlet where you can open up your concerns without the confines or potential judgement of a classroom. These will be your sessions, for you to design and proceed as best suits your needs :)
