Philippe Hergibo

I am Phil, I am French and moved to the UK 6 years ago. I have got a Masters in engineering (Top 20 University worldwide) and PhD in applied mathematics at Cardiff University. I have tutored for undergrad and postgrad during both degrees. I have enjoyed sharing my knowledge and expertise with passionate students over the years.
I have also given private tuitions to young students from GCSE level.

I adapt my teaching to the students and their hobbies so they remain passionate about learning. I feel that it is the best way to keep them engaged in the process. My aim is to get students to believe in themselves and have a structure to approach any problem they face.

I have a focus to work with individuals to always strive to their full potential. I offer feedback and give small exercises to students to keep them practicing their skills. I believe practicing is the best way to learn and develop a craft.

I support the university for making tests and marking 1st year exams (undergrad) and masters exams (postgrad), so I have gained a good level of insight into the structure to approach a test and achieve the best results.

I am friendly, flexible, and offer online or in person tuitions.
