¡Hola!

My name is Patricia and I am from Spain, Madrid. I am a young teacher with a BA in Translation and Interpreting, an MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and I am a DELE examiner (levels from A1 to C2).

I love traveling and living in different places but above all, I am passionate about teaching. Spreading my language and culture is definitely a hobby which I am lucky to call my job. I consider myself a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic person and I love teaching students from all ages, nationalities and backgrounds.

I started working at university level teaching Spanish almost 10 years ago -language, grammar, translation and conversation classes- in prestigious universities around Europe.
Since then, I've also been offering one-to-one online classes in which I customize my lessons to my students' needs, covering all levels from Beginners to Experts.

I follow the Communicative method, giving my students the opportunity to put into practice these 4 main skills together: listening, writing, reading and speaking.
In order to motivate my students, I usually choose current topics which are of their interest and I always adapt my classes to their learning needs. I know that not everyone learns the same way and that making mistakes is part of the process.

As a tutor, I try my best to create a good atmosphere in class giving my students self-confidence and most importantly, we always have fun!
