Oscar Keene

I am an experienced and skilled hybrid physical and digital fashion designer. As a non-binary small business owner of a fashion label that is both physical and digital, my work is globally recognised as future-focused, conscious of waste, and inclusive. I most recently showed my collection in collaboration with the On|Off Showcase at London Fashion Week in February 2023. I have been able to work internationally as a digital and physical designer, producing a festival in the metaverse that was cross-discipline between fashion, art and music using motion-capture and green screen technology, creating 3D logos and branding for individual clients, producing NFTs on behalf of brands such as Jack Irving, AVAVAV, Natasha Zinko, and luxury eyewear designer Francis de Lara, as well as producing my own physical and digital content and exhibiting my own collections. In 2021 I won the Global Design Graduate Show in Collaboration with Gucci for Fashion Communication for my project 'Fluid', which was specifically about the expression of queer identities in the digital medium during the height of the pandemic. I have a specialist understanding of digital technologies, such as Cinema 4D, Redshift, Houdini, CLO 3D, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, all of which I incorporate into my design workflow, all of which is supported by a comprehensive understanding of physical garment pattern-making and construction. I am able to create garment animations from the conception of the idea in a sketch/storyboarding, all the way through the 3D modelling and animation workflow, to the final stage of editing together the completed renders alongside audio in Premiere Pro.

My lessons are cumulative, so depending on your skill level we can approach various fashion design fundamentals, and progress into the digital realm from there.
