English literature is part technical, but mostly ideas based. Our time will help you communicate your unique ideas in a way that is also academically proficient.

I’m very organised, and will keep personal notes on our sessions to send forward. I will not tell you what to write, but help you grow your own skills and style to be adaptable to different tasks.

Our lessons will be tailored to your learning style, and we can experiment with what types of learning work for you. If you need help with an essay, I will take you through tips on planning, structuring and how to add clarity and flair to your arguments. If you are preparing for an exam, I will help with time management, how to tackle any unexpected content and also how to calm your nerves and enter the exam with confidence.

As a newly graduated student from the University of Bristol, I have a fresh perspective on how exams are conducted, how to get into your university course and what is looked for in a great essay.

I’m technologically proficient. We will share documents so I can track your progress and provide edits/tips on clarity, language and grammar in a way that does not make me write for you!
