From undergraduate degree to GCSE, I have spent most of my life very much enjoying History. However, I recognise that it can be a difficult subject for many reasons, mostly because of the expectation to remember large amounts of content and being able to critically analyse at the same time.

I've been lucky enough to tutor two GCSE students before my degree, but would now feel comfortable working with A-level students. The focus of my work will be a mixture of reading and reviewing essays, helping with general questions and attempting to find a good routine for exams/coursework.

Generally speaking, I found consistency and being honest with myself the most useful tools to completing my degree. History will challenge students ability to use previous knowledge to create new insights. GCSE and A-level histories also require an unbelievable amount of information to complete them. I have some solutions for these as well.
