I have worked as an associate teacher and peer tutor for AS Physics. I have also worked as an online tutor for Cambridge students. I am currently working as an academic support director for A levels and as an associate teacher for O levels' Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
Having a background of O/A levels makes me more familiar with the format and the mode of learning. I tend to make my lessons fun and interactive by using learning techniques such as mnemonics. I tend to focus more on clearing the concepts rather than cramming my students with a ton of work. Most importantly, I understand the difference between knowing something and teaching it effectively. My approachable personality, kind nature and enthusiastic way of teaching makes me stand out. I prefer to befriend my students so they don't shy away in sharing their doubts. I always tend to become a mentor for my students so they can learn and make a difference. I believe kindness is contagious and hence it should be passed on. I believe that effective communication between a teacher and a student is the key to success and that is exactly how I approach my students. My lessons are tend to be enthusiastic and fun filled so students actually enjoy learning. I tend to teach students some life skills along with teaching them so that they can truly reach the sky because I've always believed that the sky truly is the limit. Having said that, I aim to make a difference in the lives of my students and leave a legacy.
