Lessons will be completely guided by you and in a style that best suits your learning needs. If you don't like the classroom - we won't make it like a classroom. Tutoring doesn't need to feel like an extension of school; it's supposed to be a way of getting you where you need to be in the best way for you. You can let me know ahead of class if there's anything specific that you want help with, or we can go with the flow in class. You can also send me your homework each week so that I can prepare explanations and supporting examples for our next class.

I am also available to parents who want to gain a better understanding of subjects in order to help their kids.

I have experience working with children whose lack of English language skills have impacted their learning. I have been especially successful with these students as the one-to-one nature of the lesson allows me to explain things in varying ways in order to help you or your child understand better. As one of my best successes put it "Everyone thought I was stupid but I just couldn't speak English." He is doing very well now and is, in fact, extremely intelligent.

I am happy to sit with you (or your child) whilst they work through their homework so that I am on-hand to help with any challenging sections, answer questions, and explain what the problem is asking (as sometimes that's half the battle).

I can help with any subject in which the main barrier to success is a result of lack of skill in maths or English.

I am very flexible and will be happy to book tutoring sessions as and when they are required, as opposed to weekly as most tutors request. I can work around your schedule. Often I can fit you in at the last minute, so I am a great choice for last minute exam panic.
