There are so many amazing teaching tools at our disposal in this day and age. I will judge what is needed and then how I can best serve each student. Whether I am in person or I am teaching online via zoom, we will use online resources to assist in any visual learning. I find that using multimedia depending on the learner, helps students understand things from a different perspective. For literature, sometimes creative projects assist in understanding metaphors and hidden meanings. For writing, I learned many years ago to force the inner critic to go out the door when working which enables the learner to focus on what they want to say rather than editing themselves while they are trying to get their thoughts in order.
Each of my lessons will be tailored to the pupil and I am excited to meet each and every one of you!
