Hi! I’m Nancy-Violet, an interdisciplinary artist and experienced educator offering tutoring in art, creative writing, and sociology. My sessions are tailored to your goals—whether you're developing technical skills, preparing a portfolio, exploring theory, or building confidence in your writing or critical thinking.

I hold a First Class Fine Art Degree and A-Levels in Fine Art, Sociology and Creative Writing from a UK grammar school, and these subjects continue to inform my Fine Art practice and teaching. My lessons are accessible, engaging, and adapted to your learning style, with a focus on curiosity, creativity, and making connections across disciplines.

I have years of experience leading workshops and educational sessions in schools, museums, and community spaces, working with children, young people, and adults of all backgrounds and abilities. My teaching style is participatory and person-centred—I encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and reflection, while offering supportive, constructive feedback. Combining meaningful learning to encourage students' growth with high academic standards and a strong understanding of curriculums is central to my ethos.

I believe learning should be enjoyable and empowering. I take the time to get to know how each student learns best, and I shape my sessions to build both skills and confidence.
