Molly Knight

Due to my outstanding academic background, including full PhD funding and a full Academic scholarship to Eltham College, I am able to quickly identify barriers to learning and work to address those.

I believe that key to enabling students to achieve their potential, is to present material in a way that is accessible and easy to understand - building up from basics, to more complex material in a simple step-by-step fashion.

I am well versed in various different learning styles and techniques for retaining information, including those which tend to facilitate the learning of young people with SEND challenges - surrounding which I have particular expertise. I provide students with techniques and strategies for learning and revising that the can then replicate and employ in their own independent studies.

I am a trained ChildLine counsellor and experienced volunteer, and am used to working in an empathetic and understanding way, with young people who are experiencing emotional difficulty. I utilize this skill in my work as a tutor, to improve confidence and self esteem around academic work- which is key to students enjoyment and ultimately their success.
