As a student myself I understand the pressure of exams all too well. Our lessons will have a casual dynamic and feel more personal than lessons in school. I have sat all these exams recently and I know exactly what the examiners are looking for.

I can tailor my lessons based on what the student needs. I would have a quick phone call with the student first to see if they realise where their strengths and weaknesses lie and custom make a lesson plan to help them develop their skills.

I have a variety of textbooks and have gathered a great idea of how to structure and answer all the questions on these tests. I will compile a variety of useful documents to ensure you have enough to work on and read outside of our lessons too.

I can offer information to parents about what to look out for when checking essays ect.

My lessons will take place over zoom/skype or microsoft teams and be a prearranged time every week.

I can set essays/questions/exercises for them to complete during the time between our lessons and mark them and offer feedback.

If your child is struggling to learn fully in the school environment, private tutoring is the way forward for them. It allows for a fully customised experience that is tailored to how they learn, without any distractions.

English can seem quite daunting in school but I will offer them an environment whereby no question is a silly question.
