Let’s look at what we will do in my class:
1) Analyse your IELTS Writing reports and essays. We will turn your weaknesses into your strongpoints. We will look at strategies utilising your learned skills to achieve a deserved band score. Through oral and written feedbacks/reviews, you will learn to write better than you did yesterday!
2) Elevate your IELTS Speaking skills. We will have continual practice on general topics, so you will be well-equipped for test day!
3) Practise your English Language commonly found in the workplace. We will build our conversations around your work so you can maintain talks with colleagues and clients!
4) Learn from mistakes, build grammar and vocabulary skills commonly used in conversations (daily English, English for beginners). We will have constant conversations on topics you are excited about!

My class predominantly involves a lot of verbal interaction (fret not, I’m here to guide you every step of the way) so that you can activate the language learned – this includes vocabulary precision, pronunciation, word stress, and intonation. Together we will look at approaches to communicating effectively in different settings through the practice of relevant English discourses.

Why should you select me as your tutor?
I’m a qualified TEFL tutor and have a Master of Teaching in Higher Education with an extensive 6 years of experience teaching both virtual and in-person classes of varying ages. I’ve conducted different levels of ESL courses including English for beginners, English in the workplace for intermediate and advanced students, and conversational English to 14–40-year-old students. Also, I’ve helped university students prepare for their IELTS exams at a reputable Vietnam-based British university. Moreover, I’ve delivered Business English classes for working-adults at a global software company.

Although I take your objectives seriously, I’d like to incorporate fun and realistic situations so you can maximise your newly acquired language! On top of the learning template I’ve prepared, we will also explore what learning method works best for you, so this means identifying and correcting some common English mistakes.
