Megan Stroudley

I am a personable and kind individual who you will feel safe with to explore new and daunting concepts. I am extremely passionate about Geography and this will colour our sessions together! I will use a combination of mixed media and textbook resources for study. I will tailor the approach to each student i.e I can use more graphics for visual learners and physical demonstrations to help kinaesthetic learners. My goal is to help students improve their confidence and grasp concepts whilst also deepening their knowledge. I will work with each individual student to find the best way of learning for them and put good communication at the forefront of teaching.

I hold an MSc in Coastal and Marine Resource Management and a BSc in Geography (Hons) and I’m extremely knowledgeable in the field. I have also worked in the environmental industry for several years and can provide additional expert knowledge from this. I have experience managing and mentoring others and I am great at presenting and explaining difficult, complex concepts in a way that is understandable to all.

Before we begin tutoring we can have a discussion about your goals and needs and the first free session will assess whether I am the right fit for you, and you for me. I ask that before each lesson you are able to send me the material you wish to study or go over so that I can plan in advance.
