I have taught geography from basic to advanced levels; I have no uniform pattern of teaching. Being a teacher, I am of the view that every student is endowed with different cognitive skills, which is why one shoe doesn't fit all. Sometimes, a teacher has to use PowerPoint presentations, and sometimes general discussion is enough. To cut the story short, it is the mental capability of a student that will determine the mode of teaching. However, as a teacher, I will try my best to invoke an interest in the subject of geography. It is my conviction: if a student is least interested in a subject; the teacher of that subject should be held responsible.
