So far I have only tutored family members (I have tutored business studies so far not psychology as I don't know anyone currently in need of a psychology tutor) but am looking to expand to help more students with psychology. I am currently completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology BSc. I thoroughly enjoyed psychology at A-level and want to make my lessons engaging. I feel that as a student myself I know tips and tricks that maybe many teachers don't, however, every student is different so what worked for me during my A-levels may not work for them. However, on top of helping students go over topics they are struggling with I also look at revision techniques and can help with revision timetables and different ways to organise and productively revise. As I am at uni my timetable is very flexible so I am able to adapt to my student's needs in terms of times and days they are able to have tutoring. I tailor all my lessons to the individual students and what they need to go over. I have only done AQA psychology so as I am not familiar with other psychology exam boards I feel I can only assist those doing the AQA psychology exam as this is what I've done. I believe that I am able to help students improve not only their grades but their understanding of the subject as a whole. I found during my A-levels that once I understood the content, memorising facts and information for my essays became significantly easier. Lastly, I can tailor my lessons to suit how you learn as an individual, whether this is past papers and essays or a more visual learning method.
