For several years I taught at a private school in the 'Lago di Garda' area of northern Italy . I succeeded in teaching students in a short time , around 3 months to have a very good grasp of the English language. My permanent students passed year in year out with my particular style and technique . Upon returning to the UK in 2005 , I have since acquired my TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language) and I am registered with Highfield with a TAQA ( Training, Assessor and Quality Assurance).
My CPD (continuous professional development) has been ongoing in various areas such as Physical Training , and an NVQ in Spectator safety. All of these strings to my bow , have only increased my ability and skills to teach at a high and comprehensive level.
Teaching and learning is a two way street , no two students are the same. Some are visual , some react better to rote (repetition) others need to just keep listening ,writing and studying.
