Hi! I am Manu, and I am studying my final year for my BEng in Mechatronics in Middlesex University. I have previously studied and finished successfully with high level of achievement GCSEs in Mathematics, Combined Science, Spanish, French, Geography, ICT, English and Literature and International Baccalaureate (IB) Mathematics High Level as well as Physics, Business, Spanish, Chemistry and English. Having had experience in tutoring for Mathematics, Spanish at secondary levels and Piano for begginer students. I have decided to start tutoring online due to an increase in the number of students and the demands of my university degree. I am a very interactive tutor and I like to take approaches that appeal to visual learning to make it easier to understand the concepts simplifying them for students to be able to applicate them to real life practicing practical and class-based exercises with support.
When starting with new students I like to know their leveI so I "test" them and ask about some subjects and see what has been covered.

I usually start lessons by revising previous learning objectives and making sure they are clear, then I explain the new concept intended for the lesson, and we do practice exercises and I ask the student to show me their steps as they are working it out, so that as they are explaining it, they get a deeper, clearer understanding of the conecepts while solving the exercises. We then revise main objectives and finally I send some light homework to practice and keep revising what was learnt so that it is not forgotten.
