At the start of each lesson, I will speak to students to identify topics currently being covered in school or that are due to be taught soon and discuss whether there are any problem areas they would like to cover or any new topics they would like to be begin learning about. The majority of the lesson will involve exploring these deeper to help my students fully understand the required knowledge as well as worked examples and questions to ensure they are familiarised with the style of questions they could encounter as well as the most efficient methods to tackle these. Using a combination of online resources and my own knowledge, I hope to help students by breaking down difficult or lengthy issues into smaller parts and working through these fully to ensure a comprehensive and thorough run through of each area we cover. I am more than happy to set homework for students to further consolidate this learning and will give ample opportunity for us to review this together and address any difficult questions or gaps in their knowledge.
