About me

When teaching English, I like to cater every lesson to that specific student’s needs. As I work with them, I am able to gain a better understanding and work interactively with that student. From exam prep to themes of different novels - I enjoy providing the students the breakdowns on everything that they ask. Creating a safe, comfortable environment to work in is also essential.

Maia help improve my child essay skills and assisted her throughout her entire GCSE journey helping her achieve the grades she was looking for to get her into her dream sixth form. Without Maia help my child would have never found her passion for English and now wants to pursue her dreams to becoming a writer.

Maia has been absolutely amazing; in a very short space of time she has given my son the confidence in unlocking his potential ahead of his GSCE . Her teaching has been incredible and my son is enjoying classes with Maia , she explains very well and makes even the most difficult topics seem easy. He looks forward to their sessions and making steady progress.We would highly recommend maia for English continue to be great...5++
