Maia Fontaine

I am currently completing my Bachelors in Bioprocessing of New Medicines with Business Management at UCL which has provided me with further knowledge in the biological field that can be applied to real world situations. I have also completed my International Baccalaureate receiving a total of 41 points with a level 7 in Higher Level Biology. I believe that this experience has allowed me to understand the pressure that secondary students undergo in their final years and I am convinced that I can provide them with relevant assistance on how to achieve better results while maintaining an organised and social lifestyle. I have approximately 1-2 years of tutoring experience with a range of secondary students. My teaching style incorporated a prepared a lesson plan with a main focus on the area in which the individual was struggling in. We then worked collaboratively on exam-styled questions to harness the knowledge and skills of the subject. I am keen to start offering my services once again to help students achieve better results and become more motivated in their place of study.
