I have a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master's degree in Human Resources, which provides me with the knowledge to effectively work with people and support them in their learning process. I have worked with children, teenagers, adults, and even individuals over 80 years old, providing tutoring and task assistance. Beyond everything, there is a vocation for service and a genuine desire to support individuals in their personal, academic, and/or professional growth.
I like to start with an ice-breaking activity where the person feels comfortable and can start unfolding without fear. It's an activity to help them relax before starting the learning lesson. It's also important to generate trust in the other person, making them feel completely free to express their doubts and concerns. Applications like Menti or Kahoot often work well. Generally, to introduce the topic, I use a PowerPoint presentation, creating visually appealing slides that are not overloaded with information, but capture the essentials and can be retained. And at the end, I always ask if the person has any questions related to the topic discussed and provide them with materials to continue reviewing.
From the beginning, I also clarify that each learning process is different for each person, that everyone learns at their own pace, and that there's no need to rush before learning to walk. Learning takes time, patience, commitment, willingness, and the best disposition. And I am here with the best attitude to provide support. And without fear, because it's worse to be left with "what ifs" when one can achieve it.
