I am a tutor with several years of experience teaching pupils ages I have always strived to make each session fun and engaging for my tutees, using a variety of activities and games, especially for younger ones, where play is always essential to their learning. Arts learning for primary age children is sometimes under funded or not given very much time in the school day, so for children with a particular interest in visual art my tutoring session can provide massive enrichment to their learning. I am happy to develop projects or activities around the interests of each individual tutee. Additionally I can also create projects catered to support learning in other subjects following the National Curriculum to boost learning in these areas in an engaging way.

With older children and teenagers I aim to not only improve their grades as tested, but also focus on deepening their comprehension and knowledge of a subject, leading to a more well-rounded understanding and better grasp of fundamental concepts. I have experience tutoring at GCSE level, working to improve skills and seeing where there are gaps in sketchbooks to bring my tutees grades up without demoralisation. I strongly believe in a pupil-led approach, working with my tutees from where they are and building confidence through tailored exercises.

In addition to my work with young people I am also happy to offer classes to adults, helping anyone regardless of age or background to unleash their creativity, providing specialist assistance with particular mediums as well as composition and art theory.
