I like to use a combination of PowerPoints with recall, making notes on topic but immediately reviewing them with exam style questions to solidify them into short term memory. Later on, I like to revise previous topics to ensure that they are still well recapped. If we find that there may be some gaps in knowledge, we will aim to touch back on those and fill in the holes. This is a gradual process and it will not be a complete offloading of information all at once. I understand it can be very overwhelming to take in lots of information which is why the lessons are split into chunks with plenty of breaks in between, allowing for better understanding of the content.
