Lycia Van Roy in a nutshell
Any yoga session can vary depending on what the context requires. Yoga is about strengthening your awareness, bringing your body and mind into alignment. Any yoga session can vary depending on what the context requires. Yoga is about strengthening your awareness, bringing your body and mind into alignment. That said; you will be able to reinforce awareness, and take advantage of many of the benefits that yoga brings. From eliminating negative beliefs to adding and gaining flexibility in your mind and body vehicle.

Some classes will focus purely on the positions (asana), and other classes can include some breathing techniques or pranayama to work on your energetic body and its autonomic healing modalities. We can focus on life-force energy and/or gaining more adaptability in the body by grounding and surrendering into the flow, so you can let yourself be fueled throughout your innate creativity.

Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions; or even want to have a session that is more altered to your specific needs as a client. We first have a (free) call of about 30 minutes, exploring those needs and depending on whether you will want to focus one one thing; we can set up a time and space in order to proceed. You will need comfortable clothing, a (yoga) mat and perhaps one or two blocks (this can also be a set of thick books for example). If you don't have a mat yet and are new to yoga, you can use another type of mat or blanket that is fairly thick. No need to go and buy anything as you only need your body and breath!

See you soon!
