Presentations will model topics by examples gradually becoming more like past GCSE questions. Real life examples can be used to help students understand and relate to where maths is used in the world and workplace.

All material will be tailored to each pupil, and will target improving weak areas so each pupil can obtain as many marks as they can during exams.

Presentations will identify foundation knowledge needed and involve demonstration from myself, a work together exercise, and a form of assessment to establish understanding.

Each presentation has likely been used and adapted from my own experience in secondary schools, these are adapted for online learning and approved by peers.

Private practice questions are available for the student to practice outside of the paid sessions (homework). Any difficulties can be for returning students in the next session, but only upon request.

The first time I meet a student, we will have a short discussion to identify what area they want to work on. Another option for students attending regular sessions is to cover and strengthen the core curriculum building up towards end of year exams.
