I'm an experienced private chef who has taught cooking for many years, alongside catering for celebrities and royalty. I've worked in ski chalets, on yachts and in shooting lodges, as well as private homes. My training is classical French cookery through a Tante Marie diploma, but I have a wide repertoire of styles and flavours that I would love to share with you!

My favourite thing to teach is confidence - let me help you feel comfortable and in control in the kitchen, whether you are following a recipe, hosting a dinner party, or creating something from what's left in the bottom of the fridge 2 days before payday.

Whether you are wanting to wow someone special with a home cooked 3 course meal, or just learn how to effectively cook from scratch to make your budget stretch further, get in touch and we can create a bespoke learning session just for you.

I teach in person at your home (no judgement on the state of your kitchen or utensils!), or online via video link. I am also available to create menu plans, which is especially helpful if you have specific dietary requirements. I can even write your shopping list for you!

Based near Pickering, North Yorkshire, UK I am also available as a private chef, so if you are on holiday in the area or have a special event coming up, why not combine a cooking lesson with a chef hire? We can prep your meal together, and then you can sit down with friends and relax while I put together the finishing touches and serve it (and of course, do the washing up!).
