I offer 1 to 1 online tutoring for GCSE biology. I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE and an A* at A- Level for biology and I am currently studying biomedical science at Cardiff university. I will enable students to not only understand the content to a high level but will teach how to use past paper mark schemes effectively to be able to write answers in the correct format to prevent losing marks in papers. I have a passion for biology and I am confident in my ability to tutor GCSE biology.

For tutoring sessions I would request students to tell me which topic in particular they are struggling to grasp to enable me to prepare for the session to ensure the student can get the most out of it. If the student struggles with biology GCSE as a whole I would be happy to work through the topics from the beginning to see where their strong and weak points may lie.

I believe understanding how to write answers to exam questions is a key aspect to doing well at GCSE biology. So I would use many exam question examples within my tutoring giving the students repeated opportunities to practice their exam technique, as in my experience this is the best form of revision for those wanting to achieve the high grades.
