My online sessions are designed for GCSE and A Level students of Social Sciences. I am an experienced subject teacher for Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Politics and Humanities (History and Geography) I have a proven track record of excellent results both in schools and through private tutoring. I encourage you to book a taster session to discuss your needs and I will tailor a programme of study for you.

My educational philosophy is to put students at the heart of their own educational experience, to encourage you through routine and planning to become independent, creative, and resilient. I use ICT and formative assessment strategies consistently and make it a part of every online lesson. For Social Sciences we focus on literacy skills in order to understand all aspects of exam questions and what is required. The use of questioning to elicit evidence of learning, providing feedback to move you forward or to adapt, in real time, to the needs of a particular topic.

My learning environment is friendly yet formal. I make regular use of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and OneNote. All resources are shared with students for lesson activities, flipped learning, extension tasks and homework.

Ultimately students need to be inspired and challenged in every session so that learning is motivational. All students are encouraged to discuss ideas and themes related to the curriculum, or any issues they have with knowledge or skills; the environment needs to be such that they are not afraid to express themselves and that failure isn't negative, it should be a journey towards improving and eventual success.
