Advert description
I have a strong background in policy research, public affairs, and political consultancy, with experience in stakeholder engagement, political analysis, and strategic communication. I hold a Master’s degree in Politics and International Relations (Global Security Pathway) and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics from Keele University. Professionally, I worked as a Policy Caseworker and Researcher for Mike Wood, Member of Parliament for Kingswinford and South Staffordshire, where I engaged with stakeholders, drafted policy briefings, and managed interns. I also worked as a Public Relations Executive at Eversheds Sutherland, focusing on strategic communications, public affairs, and policy research. These roles have given me valuable experience in explaining complex political issues to a wide range of audiences.
My teaching approach is interactive and tailored to each student’s needs. I break down complex political concepts into clear, accessible lessons, encouraging critical thinking and engagement with real-world political issues. I use discussion-based learning, case studies, and exam-focused techniques to help students develop strong analytical skills. Whether supporting students with coursework, exam preparation, or general political understanding, I aim to create an engaging learning environment that fosters confidence and independent thinking.
