Being a native speaker in Chinese, fluency is not a problem, having spoken Mandarin Chinese my whole life, it should come with ease tutoring anyone from any background or any experience with this amazing language, having a masters degree in landscape architecture from the university of Sheffield, not only I’m also fluent in English, but also have the qualities of discipline, time management skills, organization skills, professional communication skills, and ability to work under pressure. With my vibrant personality being positive, fun, and outgoing, teaching Chinese to people ranging from children to adults is no problem at all.

With my teaching format, working on foundations for everyday communication is my main priority, being peer to peer private tutoring, I am flexible in suiting the what the students needs in achieving fluency in Chinese, we will start by assessing the skill level of the student to help more understand the proficiency of their language level, and from there we can work together in building a better foundation, ranging from basic, easy to understand, to more complex and useful phrases. Starting with the very basics of becoming fluent in Chinese, is learning the basics of pingyin, writing, reading, listening and speaking. With progress we will move on to going through communication skills in Chinese and if interested, learning some of Chinese poems and culture.

With students preparing for GCSE, A-levels or even HSK, we can tackle exam techniques suited in passing any sorts of exams with ease. This can be down to peer to peer speaking, writing essays, reading large case studies, even listening to recordings.
