Authentic, approachable Mandarin for learners at all levels

My goal is to making learning engaging and innovative, and gain valuable teaching experience myself. As a native Chinese speaker I am very familiar with teaching all levels of authentic Chinese in schools in China - as an English graduate I'm able to transform these methods to accommodate your strength and needs as a non-Chinese speaker. I can also use a naturalistic approach teaching with conversation and casual materials (e.g. storytelling), especially for younger learners. I hold the belief that Mandarin is 'difficult' only because it is a distant language system, and it can be as interesting as learning how to draw.

I am based in Sheffield but I can also teach remotely.
