Influenced by my travels, teachers and environment, my teaching style is a blend of the following variety of yoga techniques and types: vinyasa, hatha, power and restorative yoga. In addition to teaching yoga, I also have done weightlifting while training at different gyms, which has given me a unique perspective on the mind-body connection and anatomy. Through intention settings, breath exercises, the practice of asanas (poses), meditation and affirmations, my purpose is to see a smile on every students’ face at the end of the class.
When you attend one of my classes, you can expect a supportive and welcoming environment where you can explore your practice and connect with your body and breath. My classes are designed to be accessible for absolutely any and all levels, and I offer modifications and variations to help you find the right level of challenge.
Although you will leave the class feeling completely relaxed and alleviated from tensions in your body, my classes are challenging physically and mentally. I deliver them in English with some elements of Sanskrit with uplifting music to set a calming and anxiety-free atmosphere.
I want my students, many of which have been yoga instructors themselves, to feel genuinely better mentally and physically and for a sense of calm and accomplishment to wash over them. Guiding each of my students’ through their journey and observing them grow in their physical practice and mental journey is what motivates me to be on my mat everyday. Yoga for me is my token of humanity, to teach a healthier lifestyle that will lead to a happier person that leaves even one class of mine.
