I also currently work within a tuition centre doing Administrative work so being able to monitor lessons and look for great resources is something I have learnt a lot from.
I know the importance of breaks between learning but if you are having fun and genuinely interested in the subject then sometimes it doesn’t even feel like hard work!
I want my students to progress at a steady pace. Knowing they can talk to me or let me know their worries helps me adapt lessons to their needs and requirements. I am continuously working on my own skills whilst supporting others with theirs.
Throughout my own education I took part in trips and excursions within health and social care, being able to share my experiences with students is a great way to show them physically how skills are put to the test.
I teach in many different ways, some students prefer to note and write everything down whereas some learn more through pictures or completing exam questions. I would put together a lesson plan with both written and practical work.
