My lessons are tailored to the student's personal aims and ambitions - I am able to carefully plan lessons which target a specific area, whether this be grammar, vocab, reading or writing.

The CELTA qualification imbedded a student-centred approach to my teaching which maximises a student's involvement in the lesson and encourages elicitation - this avoids a students being "spoon fed" and allows them to explore their own thoughts and ideas before the answer is given and explained.

Everything I teach is put into a real-life context, rather than reciting given tenses, for example, I show how they are used and give visual and verbal examples of how they are used.

I have experience teaching online and can effectively communicate a lesson on Zoom.
