My lessons would hopefully involve the student providing some context to what they are currently learning and then i would engage with them in what areas they are struggling with or if i can provide any advice with any extra work they have been tasked with such as long essay type questions and i would work along side them with possible points of discussion they could mention in their answers and attempted to challenge their thought processes to help them see if there is any other possible points they could talk about.
Additionally i will try and provide them with insights from my own personal experiences with the subject in hopes this will given them any ideas of how to approach a problem they might be intimidated by if its on a topic they are perhaps struggling with. Furthermore, i know that some students (myself included) may often not do as well in a topic they are uninterested in. From this one goal of mine would be get students more interested in what they are learning which would overall make their experience with the subject better.
I ask that students do engage with questions that also challenge me and call out any potential mistakes that i could me making as this can reinforce their own knowledge in the area. To conclude i want my lessons to be more of an open discussion about their work and also assist where i can in order that the student can get the best grades they can :)
