I finished my A-levels in 2018 and achieved an A in psychology which led me to attend the University of Exeter and further my interest in the subject. I recently completed a masters in clinical psychology as a result and now I would like to help students prepare for their upcoming exams and the stress that comes with it.
In the lessons we'll do a quick check in about yourself and if you have had any issues with the content you have learnt recently so that I might be able to address them.
Then we'll look at past exam questions and how to answer them before practicing them so that you feel prepared if similar questions come up in exams. This is a technique that my own teachers in sixth form used.
We may also do quick little kahoots at the start or end of the lessons to add some fun.
Some lessons may also be decided by you, especially if we are at the end of term and you would like to consolidate your knowledge your attained throughout the term.
I will be patient throughout the lessons and if needed I will be prepared to use the skills as a wellbeing practitioner if you are struggling with your mental health and motivation to do your A-level work.
I aim to make our lessons highly useful for you as I learnt from my teachers that it is more important to be able to answer the exam questions and out-smart the examiner than anything else to ensure that you can achieve the best result from your A-levels as possible.
