Your lessons will be meticulously planned to suit the areas that you wish to focus on. After your first lesson I will be able to identify the areas that you need help with and structure your regular lessons with emphasis on these areas.
I have experience in English Literature and Creative Writing and specialise in GCSE, A Level and Degree level teaching. Helping you to understand how to read and analyse literary texts from Shakespeare to present day and how to present those ideas in an essay format with full knowledge of bibliography styles.
If your focus is creative writing I can assist you with story structure, character development and plot creation in fiction, screen play, play writing, radio play writing, television writing and article/journalistic writing.
For all skills I am able to assist in essay planning and structure, as well as essay writing and text analysis in both coursework and exam environments.
I specialise in screenwriting for film (MA level) and also hold a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing which I was awarded with first class honours.
I am available to teach at all times to suit your routine and am able to schedule and plan your lessons ahead of time. I am also flexible and can change the lesson time or lesson focus to suit your individual needs.
I am friendly and professional and can adapt my teaching speed to suit your abilities.
