I always adapt my teaching resources and material to meet the needs of individual pupils. I always adapt my teaching resources and material to meet the needs of individual pupils. I often use my own teaching resources that have been adapted from previous schools I have worked in and online forums. A typical lesson will typically be broken down into three or four actives: incorporating retrieval, comprehension, consolidation of knowledge and a plenary. Of course this is depending on the needs of the student.

I have a lot of experience teaching various topics throughout history, ranging from Y7 to Y13 content of the National Curriculum. All teaching resources are tailored to each specific subject and made accessible for the relevant student.

I strongly believe that lesson with high engagement are most effective to improve progress of learning. Therefore, I plan questioning that are tailored to the learning objectives, focusing on key themes, concepts and vocabulary.
