History tutor with university and A-Level lecturing experience offering private one-to-one sessions

I am a postgraduate researcher in history, with experience teaching undergraduates and A-Level students. I am more than happy to work with school level students on their subjects also. My areas of expertise are American history, race relations, slavery and Civil Rights, but I have experience researching and working in a range of topics, areas and time periods (having researched far and wide working on the history podcast You're Dead To Me!) and am happy to cater to your needs. My lessons will be a welcoming, inclusive and relaxed environment, where we can talk about your topic and explore whatever you need to explore and find a way to learn suited to you. I have experience setting and marking essays and am happy to do so. I offer one-to-one sessions online, but could do face-to-face in Newcastle if needed.
