I have a passion for creative writing and am always recommending books to pupils and proof reading their own creative writing! I am a native English speaker, with a degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing from a red brick University. I have a PGCE with two years of primary school teaching and 3 years of at-home private English and phonics tutoring. I always aim to make my sessions enjoyable, comfortable and thorough: there will be aspects of games involved with the learning to keep you engaged and help you remember new skills, I am friendly and approachable and always welcome any questions (no matter how many or how many times I need to repeat ideas!) and I always include a variety of skills, from writing to reading to speaking so you will have a thorough grounding in every aspect of English. I will use a variety of visual aids and worksheets to support your learning, too.
