Maths is a core subject so it is essential for basic skills to be learnt. It is important for lessons to be fun and engaging! My lessons will start with a warm up activity, which will then follow with a range of tasks which will focus directly on areas that need support. The next lesson will follow on by recapping what was learnt in the previous session with a short fun activity to assess and tackle and misconceptions. As well as tasks to be completed during the session, my screen will also be shared to play games which link to the topic in hand. I am an experienced teacher who is able to tailor and adapt lessons to the needs and abilities of each child. Alongside this, each child learns differently, so I will build a rapport to find out the best, and most engaging way for this core session to be taught so it is fun and beneficial!
