In my teaching, I always uphold the interactive and interesting teaching format. I am well aware that language learning requires sustained interest and active participation from students. Therefore, I pay attention to creating a relaxed and positive learning atmosphere in the classroom, encouraging students to express freely and interact. I will combine real-life scenarios to design interesting teaching content, so that students can feel the charm and practicality of Chinese in their learning.
My teaching experience is rich and varied, covering students of different ages and backgrounds. I used to work as a Chinese teaching assistant in an educational institution in China and taught Chinese courses. At the same time, when I was studying for an undergraduate degree in the UK, I also conducted cross-cultural exchanges with foreign students and worked on projects together. These experiences let me better understand the needs and learning difficulties of students, and also exercised my teaching ability to adapt to different groups.
In my classroom, I pay attention to teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and respect each student's personality and learning rhythm. According to the different levels and learning goals of students, I will tailor teaching plans to help them build a solid Chinese foundation. At the same time, I also encourage students to actively participate in the classroom, ask questions and opinions, so as to stimulate their interest in learning and self-confidence.
In addition to imparting language knowledge, I also pay attention to cultivating students' comprehensive language ability. In the classroom, I often organize students to carry out group activities, role-playing and field practice, so as to improve their oral communication and practical application ability. I believe that language is alive and needs to be explored and used continuously in practice, so I encourage students to interact with Chinese culture more and enhance their understanding of China.
