Juan Octavio Rodríguez

Hello! Nice to meet you. My name is Juan Octavio, I am an Argentinian currently living in Spain passionate about languages and teaching others. I have been teaching languages (aside from other disciplines) for five years now. I have taught a myriad of English and American immigrants in Spain, helping them develop proficient language skills that integrate seamlessly into the culture, workspaces, and social gatherings of Hispanic communities.

This is why my lessons are mainly focused on conversation. The reason behind picking conversation as my main approach to teaching is the fact that it is a way for you to incorporate a new language into your routine seamlessly without it feeling like a chore. You will speak to me as if you were living in a Spanish-speaking country, and after we've had our conversations you will feel your language skills grow in real time.

I am interested in multiple topics outside of language, specifically music composition, electronic and car repairs, visual arts, nature, and mathematics. I hope to find people who can tell me about their hobbies or interests and we can share them with each other, all while having a disciplined, comfortable, and productive learning experience.

I am someone who loves to speak to people around the world and as someone who has lived in multiple countries during his lifetime, I understand the struggles of having a language barrier prevent you from finding yourself at home in a new community. However, nothing is out of reach for anyone and I hope we can have a good learning experience together. :)
