With almost eleven years of teaching experience at UAL and over twenty years of practising contemporary fine art, I have honed my technical skills in both painting and printmaking, making me well-equipped to impart this knowledge to students.

With almost eleven years of teaching experience at UAL and over twenty years of practising contemporary fine art, I have honed my technical skills in both painting and printmaking, making me well-equipped to impart this knowledge to students.

Additionally, I have a strong foundation in critical writing, exploring the transition between physical and digital image-making, as well as conducting practice-related research, particularly in art's social and educational turns. My familiarity with various research, digital, and studio-based methods, including critical and feminist pedagogies, dialogical and relational aesthetics, cybernetics, and actor-network theory, has allowed me to teach and develop curricular and extracurricular learning inside and outside university spaces.

Moreover, my interdisciplinary approach to artmaking, seamlessly integrating digital and traditional techniques, has not only built my nuanced understanding of various artistic mediums but also enabled me to effectively engage with communities and convey meaningful messages. My extensive communication skills enable me to lead and manage art courses and engage with students and staff teams effectively.

Furthermore, my in-depth knowledge of technical painting and screen-printing skills has been instrumental in both my practice as well as in my role as an educator. I aim to enrich the fine art program by incorporating environmental, racial, and social justice principles into the curriculum and fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration.

My extensive experience, expertise, and accomplishments as a painter, printmaker, and educator make me eminently suitable for tutoring fine art and design students. My multifaceted experience and dedication to art education and practice have equipped me to make a significant and positive impact on the students and the institution as a whole.
