Experienced tutor, delivering tailored programs

I am a tutor with 2 years’ experience at a range of levels, subjects, and abilities. My pupils thrive as I get to know them and can tailor each lesson within the wider program to their needs. Utilising a range of techniques, I believe in my ability to help students become more confident in themselves, realising their potential and ultimately achieving the results that they desire!

I am a Philosophy, Politics, and Economics student at the University of Manchester, and am specialising in quantitative economics. Further, I have a wealth of experience in University admissions, specifically to Oxford. Receiving interviews twice, and tutoring successful pupils, I can oversee both Personal Statements, practice for the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA), and interview prep.

Competing in athletics, I have tangible experience and evidence of consistent work to gain results, and apply this to my tutoring programs for students.

Many pupils find our lessons inspiring and fun, as we often explore the (sometimes less fun) topics through the perspectives of their interests and extra-curricular activities. On the other hand, we can sometimes work through exam preparation intensively if that is what is felt needed. I aim to provide feedback to pupils and, if desired, parents too. I am happy to provide and help with homework questions to supplement pupils’ learning too.
