Experienced Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s Degree Offering Online Maths and Physics Tutoring

Hi there!

I’m Michael, and I worked as a Mechanical Engineer for 5 years after graduating from my master’s degree, before transitioning into tutoring Maths and Physics while I undertake a PhD in Energy Engineering. I aim use my lessons to build student’s confidence and potential for success by simplifying concepts and ideas.

I am passionate about promoting the importance of Mathematics and STEM learning, whether students aim to pursue STEM careers or simply build a foundation and find meaning in the subject. I enjoy using my experience in engineering to bring a practical perspective to lessons, providing a more enriching tutoring experience for students!

My priority as a tutor is adapting lessons to student’s individual needs and goals, while providing an environment where they feel comfortable expressing the difficulties they find in a subject, so we can tackle these together.
