I believe that we must learn with intention, and clear motivation. I will assess your level in Spanish to start, then consult with you what your interests are, your motivation for learning (studies, travel, social etc.) and then design lessons for you. Whether your focus is to learn/improve your confidence speaking, your reading skills, grammar, or listening, I am hear to help!

In the past, when teaching languages I have created story boards, scripts, translated songs and films, all drawing on a person centered learning approach. We can tailor the format of the lessons to suit your intention, taking on a more classroom style learning, or a more informal "cultural" learning style.

I studied Spanish at school, college, and most importantly, in the real world. I lived in Tenerife, have family from the Canary Islands, and many friends from Latinoamerica. My teaching style is preferably informal, but have worked in education for ten years, so am happy to take on a more formal approach, based on what you, as the learner finds beneficial!
