Depending on what your goals are, the sessions will be tailored to that. For example if you said you wanted to jump higher as a goal, I would ask you to perform a series of different jumps. This will allow me to watch your mechanics, body angles and habits. As humans nothing is perfect. We usually have one side of our body which is stronger or more flexible. So the first thing to do is analyze and then build from the fundamental stages. You can only build as high as your foundation will allow, and the stronger the foundation the higher we can build. I have had the luxury of playing for Great Britain Basketball. I was also an all conference basketball player at East Central University in Ada Oklahoma. I have had access to the best coaches ,trainers, and even NBA/ Top European players. One thing that is taught is fundamentals. The fundamentals for everything is key. For example I had to change the way I would jump and run. I had not been taught the correct techniques which limited me and increased my risk of injuries. Training is important but having a good rest/rehab schedule is very important too.
